Cornet Technology Inc. welcomed Congressman Don Beyer to the company’s Springfield, Virginia facility on March 23.  Congressman Beyer represents Virginia’s 8^th Congressional District, which includes Cornet’s headquarters and manufacturing facility.  Beyer sits on the House Ways & Means Committee as well as the Science, Space, and Technology Committee, where he chairs the committee’s Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee.

Beyer received an overview of Cornet’s thirty-three-year history as a tactical and secure communications provider to the military and first responders. He also toured Cornet’s manufacturing line and saw firsthand Cornet’s role in providing cutting edge shipboard exterior communications equipment for the US Navy.
