For the U.S. Army, Cornet Technology Communications is working diligently to help modernize several army technical control facilities to guarantee that the war-fighter receives quality communication required for successful mission completion. Our systems streamline operation centers providing operational savings and giving the Army a robust physical communication infrastructure.

The U.S. Army depends on quality and timely communications to carry out its vital missions. These communications flow through both DOD private networks and commercial network carriers. At strategic hub locations, "Technical Control Centers" monitor the quality of these transmissions and the equipment they go through. Unfortunately, many problems arise which have a negative affect on the quality and availability of these communications.

During the last few years, Cornet Technology Inc. has been part of a team, selected by the PMDCATS office located on Ft. Monmoth, NJ, tasked with modernizing several army technical control facilities. These tasks are accomplished under the U. S. Army's "Worldwide Technical Control Improvement Program." In 2000, CTI was awarded a three year $5 million dollar contract (DAAB07-06-D-H753) followed by two additional five year $5 million dollar contracts bringing the total thus far to $13M to continue with this highly significant program.

The "MTX" switching systems from Cornet Technology Inc. provides the U.S. Army with the ability to modernize their existing Technical Control Centers. This modernization includes the removal of old inside wire plant, and replacement with a greatly reduced and more robust physical infrastructure. The reduction of cable, patch panels, and distribution frames, will lower the overall operation and maintenance costs over future years while providing for higher quality and availability of vital communications.
